Traditional GTM systems are designed to stop non-compliant goods upon reaching a border causing potential delays and even spoilage of goods.  Alternatively, Real Time GTM is architected to proactively provide the necessary compliance information ahead of time so that goods keep moving ahead efficiently.  Further, with traditional GTM systems, excessive taxes and unplanned expenses can be incurred because companies aren’t able to forecast relevant compliance requirements. 

With international trade agreements and taxes changing constantly, companies must have up-to-date views of their supply chain and customs requirements.  Rather than simply rely on historical information, Integration Point’s system includes Real Time capabilities such as the analysis of transaction information and ability to add user overrides. The Integration Point Real Time GTM system provides a holistic view of the goods from creation through final destination and inventory. This is done by closely integrating with a customer’s existing internal ERP and/or logistics platform such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, MAPICS, BPCS, MFG/PRO, American Software, EXE, Manhattan Associates (PKMS), Infor, and many others.  Integration Point even integrates with many other global trade management systems. If desired, the Integration Point system can also import trade route visibility information from carriers, forwarders, and logistics portals.  This overall connectivity allows full communication between all the systems involved in a transaction or shipment.
