Import Safety

The Interagency Working Group’s 2007 Action Plan for Import Safety provides several recommendations for all companies importing into the U.S.  These recommendations include action items such as creating new safety standards, promoting the use of best practices throughout the supply chain, participating in a network to share regulatory information, and monitoring the complete product lifecycle.

Integration Point Supply Chain Compliance software provides users with a platform to enhance company and industry-specific security standards with their external and internal suppliers to achieve compliance with government regulations.  Organizations can create and distribute web-based import safety questionnaires to efficiently manage a supplier’s adherence to security standards.
